Tiger Guru gets Lifetime Achievement Award

Congratulations to Fateh Singh Rathore, the former field director of Ranthambore National Park and Sariska Tiger Reserve, who will be honoured with a lifetime achievement award by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) India for his exceptional contributions to saving and conserving tigers.

The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday at the SMS convention centre.

Fateh Singh Rathore is a renowned conservationist who has dedicated his life to the cause of tigers. He is widely respected for his extensive knowledge of the big cat, including his ability to predict their whereabouts.

Fateh Singh Rathore joined the Indian Forest Service in 1960 and served as field director of Ranthambore for many years. He was also a member of the first Project Tiger team. In 1983, he was awarded the International Valour Award for his bravery in protecting the park from poachers.

Unfortunately, he is currently unwell and receiving medical treatment at a hospital.
