Fateh Singh Rathore, ex field director Ranthambhore National Park, also referred as Tiger Guru passed away today at Ranthambhore. He was unwell for some time & was undergoing treatment for cancer His cremation would take place around 9 A.M tomorrow.

T 7 finally reaches Sariska

T-7 male tiger, who had moved out of Ranthambhore & was roaming around Bharatpur for last few months has finally been relocated to Sariska. Post this relocation Sariska’s tiger population has increased to 5. At present there are 2 male tigers (including T 7) & three female tigers. T 7 henceforth would called as ST 6.

Tiger relocation to continue says minister

Following the recent death of a translocated male tiger at Sariska, Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh on Wednesday visited the reserve and announced `30 crore for it during the current fiscal, besides reviewing the steps being taken by the State Government for protection of tigers.

Relocation of strayed tiger T 7

sometime now. A team from the Wildlife Trust of India (WII) and the Sariska Tiger Reserve will be arriving at Bharatpur late on Tuesday for relocating the big cat to Sariska. Union forest and environment minister Jairam Ramesh had set February as a deadline for relocation of T-7 during his last visit to the state.
